Happy Monday, Families -

A few dates for you to remember ...

Sept. 16: PTA Spirit Night at Chipotle on Victory Drive
Sept. 20: International Peace Day Celebration
Sept. 27: Fall Pictures (Class Pictures and Make-ups)
               *Class pictures must be pre-ordered for $10 before picture day. Please let your families know that Ellis gets a small portion of the proceeds for class picture purchases. Families may order class pictures by sending cash or check (payable to Strawbridge) to school with the order form OR by going online to www.strawbridge.net and using code: FM322621

Make-up and class picture day will be on September 27th​for anyone who did not take a picture or who does not like their picture. 

Social World (SW) Work:
1) Please check Powerschool to see how well your child did on Friday's vocabulary and etymology test. If they passed the test and want to improve their grade, or if they did not pass the test, please refer to Google Classroom SW11 "Retest Options." If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch.

2) Please check in with your child on a daily basis using their work charts, study guides, and Google Classroom. We have found these methods to be most successful in keeping an open line of communication regarding grades, study habits, etc. among the teachers, students, and parents.

3) We appreciate you signing your child's work chart on Thursdays. Please make this a weekly habit that your child can count on in order to communicate what work has been completed, what needs to be completed, or if there is a need for clarification.
